Chloe & Chris’ Acadia National Park Fall Elopement

hot off
the press

You did an incredible job. Including my sister was priceless—she left the weekend seriously considering photography as a career, after years of feeling unsure due to her dyslexia. You gave her something no one else could: hope.” – Chloe and Chris, Acadia National Park 2026

High energy love. Fierce vows. Two athletes turned soulmates.

Chloe & Chris’s Acadia elopement wasn’t just an exchange of vows—it was a return to a place that shaped Chloe’s solo journey years ago, now transformed into a weekend of fall magic with family, laughter, and trail dust.

Why Acadia National Park?

Before Chloe & Chris were a couple, Chloe had already fallen for Acadia. A solo hiking trip planted the seed—and it became a dream to return, this time with the love of her life.

They wanted a location where their families could enjoy a full fall getaway, where stunning trails met cozy downtime. With both of them being athletes (Chloe from her college days and Chris now in the Navy), Acadia’s rugged coastlines and climb-worthy peaks made it the perfect fit.

Elopement Timeline: Sunrise Vows to Sunset Hike

This wasn’t your average “just the two of us” elopement—it was a story arc. Chloe & Chris booked a 6-hour split day package that let them ease into the day with romance and adventure, then reconnect after family time for something personal and epic.MORNING

  • First Look near Thunder Hole
We kicked off the day before sunrise on Park Loop Road, with crashing waves and quiet anticipation. Their first look was emotional, filled with quiet smiles and hand squeezes as the sky turned from lavender to gold.
  • Vows at Otter Cove
With handwritten vows and the soft roar of waves behind them, Chloe & Chris stood together and promised each other a lifetime. No fluff. Just raw love, wrapped in ocean air.
  • Forest Walk to Hunters Beach
We met up with their families for portraits at Hunter’s Beach, taking our time to wander the mossy forest trail. The fall foliage showed off hard—reds, golds, and deep pine greens—and the couple soaked it all in, barefoot on the rocky shore.

MIDDAY

After portraits wrapped, they returned to their Airbnb for a lobster bake with family. No formal tables. No rules. Just warmth, laughter, and the kind of celebration that feels like home.

EVENING

  • Sunset Hike at Beech Mountain
As golden hour hit round two, we met back up to hike Beech Mountain. The wind caught Chloe’s dress in the last bits of light, and the views from the summit gave us that quiet, powerful energy that only a hike with your person can bring. It was intimate. Intentional. And beautiful.

Who They Are

These two are the kind of couple who push each other to be better. Chloe is a powerhouse—career-driven, passionate, and a devoted mom. Chris brings the Navy mindset and a calm, steady presence. Together, they have that high-energy dynamic that’s somehow still deeply grounded.

They didn’t include a bunch of traditions. Instead, they wrote their own vows, skipped the fluff, and built a weekend that felt like them. Hiking. Laughing. Loving hard.

Why I Loved This Elopement

Chloe & Chris trusted the process completely—from sunrise portraits to a forest walk with family, to golden-hour magic in the mountains. They took my suggestions, but also made their own path. That’s what I want for every couple.

And Beech Mountain? Pure editorial vibes. We got every kind of light that day—from soft misty blue hour to bold golden sun. It felt cinematic. It felt real.

This is what it means to elope intentionally. No pressure. No performance. Just a day that tells your story, start to finish.
